Who Are Reverend Horton Heat?
Reverend Horton Heat is not only the name of the band but the stage name of its leader, guitarist Jim Heath. The other two members are upright bassist Jimbo Wallace and drummer Scott Churilla.
The band formed in 1985. Back then, Heath was joined by “Swingin’” Jack Barton and drummer Bobby Baranowski.
The trio released their first album, Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em, in 1990. The lineup that made that album was Heath, Wallace, and drummer Patrick "Taz" Bentley.
