Jack Ingram released "Wherever You Are" on Nov. 1, 2005. The single became both his first Top 40 and number one hit. The song is found on his live album Live: Wherever You Are. For some country music fans Ingram was a new face, but those familiar with the genre knew his success was a long time in the making. Before "Wherever You Are" saw the light of day, Ingram had released five studio albums, four live albums, an EP, and eight singles. His follow-up to "Wherever You Are" was "Love You" which peaked at number 12 on the country singles chart. His next album was 2007's This Is It. The release went all the way to number four. "Wherever You Are" may have changed Ingram's level of notoriety amongst country music fans but there's one thing about the Texan that has never changed and that's his ability to perform.
Whether he's singing the country's number one song or its last, Jack Ingram tickets never disappoint. When he's not doing the country music thing Ingram works in the radio business. He does what is called "voice imaging" for several high profile country music stations. In 2009, Ingram set the Guinness World Record for most radio interviews in one day. He suffered through Q&As with 215 radio jocks.
