About All Time Low

All Time Low released their third studio album, Nothing Personal, on July 7, 2009. The band was trying to capitalize on the success of its single “Dear Maria, Count Me In.” It was ATL’s first single to crack a Billboard chart and its video received a lot of attention from MTV. Needless to say, expectations were high for Nothing Personal.

The album sold 63,000 copies during its first week of sales. A decade earlier, that would have been an unmitigated flop. Successful acts in the 1970s and 1980s sold 63,000 copies before breakfast. In 2009, however, 63,000 in sales is good enough for fourth on the Billboard 200 and number one for Billboard’s U.S. Rock chart.

Formation
All Time Low was formed in 2003 while the members were still in high school. Before graduating, they signed two recording contracts, released an EP, The Three Words to Remember in Dealing with the End, and their first studio album, The Party Scene.

So Wrong, It's Right
In September of 2007, the band released its second studio album, So Wrong, It’s Right. It stalled at 68 on the Billboard 200. Success of So Wrong, It’s Right led to the band’s first headlining trek, “Manwhores and Open Sores Tour.” So Wrong, It’s Right helped All Time Low attract a national audience.
