Chicago is home to two popular Major League Baseball teams. The Chicago White Sox of the American League play ball at U.S. Cellular Field. Established in 1894, the White Sox, also known as the South Siders, last won the World Series in 2005. Their MLB mates are the Chicago Cubs. The Cubs are arguably one of the most popular sports franchises in all of America. Part of the reason for their popularity is they play at the friendly confines of Wrigley Field—the second oldest ballpark in the Majors—and they’re lovable losers.
